The newborn stage is precious, quick and an utter delight. This is one of the absolute best times to get your professional newborn photography done. The ideal time is between 5-14 days to get the cutest images you'll love forever. The studio is set up for your newborn session on the day with a changing table, tea & snacks and is always toasty to ensure baby is as comfy as possible. I have a multitude of wraps, blankets, baskets and hats to create a lovely range of images. Newborn sessions are around 2 hours to accommodate feeds, settling and nappy changes at a nice relaxed pace.

When booking your newborn session - I'll discuss due dates and your wishes once baby is here. Our booking will be a provisional booking that can be amended to suit the early or late arrival of the little one. The session can also include some images with family/Mum/Dad to make a beautiful set of images to add to your overall gallery. If baby is already here, don't worry! Just get in touch and I'll happily fit you in at a time that is good for you.

All your digitals come edited as standard, I take out blemishes, flaky skin, scratches and spots but leave anything that is a permanent part of your babies overall look.

How it Works

Step 01

Getting comfortable

Once we've booked and confirmed the babies arrival I'll set-up the studio for you. If you have any particular images, colours or props in mind just let me know. The studio will have refreshments for you and a changing table for you to easily prep baby for their shoot.

Step 02

Being your beautiful selves

On the day I will provide all the backdrops and baby props/outfits as required. The studio will be set-up to be comfy and a relaxing space for me to capture your little one and family with ease.

Step 03

Editing your photos

I'll select you lovely range of images for you and you should get around 20-25 images to select from. If you have any queries or small amends just let me know.

Step 04

Choosing memories to treasure

Once you have your beautifully finalised images you'll need to select the 15 images you'd like digitally and the ones you'd like printed. If you want to add more digitals to your package you can! One extra digital is £35 and an additional 5 is £125. The images you select or printing must be the same as the digitals you've selected. These will be delivered via email transfer for you to easily download and save.

A mini family session can include up to 4 people. If you have a larger or extended family session, this will not be a 'mini' session and would be one of the otyher family sessions. If you have a query on the amount of people you'd like to involve just send me an email and we can discuss your requirements.

Newborn Sessions can include parent and sibling shots. As I have a small studio and especially if you have toddlers, I'd recommend doing these first and someone being available to take little ones to the park or out for the rest of the session.

General family sessions can be for 2-5 people. I am able to do larger groups but this would have to be discussed on a specific basis. I love capturing large family groups but this can take a little prep work on my side :)

For a newborn session - you would need to bring whatever would make you and baby comfortable for a period of around 2 hours. So milk, burp clothes, nappies, dummy (if has one) etc. I provide all the outfits, props and wraps needed to style the session.

For a family session, just ensure everyone is ready in the outfits you've chosen for the session. And ready with their smiley faces :)

For a Cake Sash session, you should bring the cake and the outfit you'd like them in for the initial mini session. If you want a different outfit for their cake smashing that's absolutely fine. If you've opted for a 'Splash' session added then please bring along babies usual bubbles and a towel for afterwards. I'll provide all the decorations in the specified colour(s).

I edit all images sent out to you to improve the quality of your images. Each one is hand edited to remove flaky skin, blemishes and spot. I also adjust lighting, the crop and backdrops to create a beautiful all over image that you'll love.

This amount of detail takes a little time, so your finalised images will be back with yo within 3-4 weeks depending on the capacity of the studio. After our session I'll let you know roughly how long they'll be.
